Rules Q&A

Q: Can I steal gold from a dead player?

A: Yup! If the dead player has any gold remaining in their bank, you can absolutely steal it. However, any gold that was just rolled by that player during that turn cannot be stolen, as a dead player can't collect gold.

Q: Can I buy both boxes?

A: Oh yeah! If you're lucky enough to snag both, it's time to double down and destroy your enemies!

Q: If my health hits zero during attacks but I have Healing dice, can I heal from death?

A: Nope. Once you are dead, you're dead. Attacks resolve completely before any healing happens, so you cannot heal from the grave!

Q: What order do Healing and Stealing happen in?

A: Resolving abilities gets a bit more specific with the expansion. First, attacks and defenses resolve as usual, and then gold is collected. Once all gold is collected, stealing happens first, and finally, players heal any damage taken.

Q: Which player gets to steal first?

A: Just like resolving the rest of the roll, stealing happens simultaneously. For example, if Player A rolls 2 steals and Player B rolls 1 steal, those steals will cancel each other out one-for-one BEFORE the stealing actually happens. In this scenario, one of Player A's steals would "bounce" off Player B's, leaving Player A to steal exactly 1 gold.
