Heal or Steal is the newest expansion for Dice Fights, adding 22 new dice and brand-new mechanics that deepen strategy and create bigger, more dramatic moments each round. With new ways to recover health or disrupt your opponents, every roll feels more impactful and every fight more dynamic.
Note: This is not a standalone game and requires the base game, Dice Fights, to play. Please note that this expansion does not increase the player count on its own. For balanced gameplay with larger groups, add Dice Fights and one Heal or Steal box for every two players.

In my opinion, the Heal or Steal expansion completely breaks the game, and should only be used if you have a vendetta against someone. Playing this expansion with someone who gets mad easy will result in friendship loss, tables flipped, or you’re sleeping on the couch.
Let’s start with healing. Okay, this is good and helps keep you in the game longer. As long as you can afford to get enough gold for the dice, you have a good chance of staying in the game.
“IF” you can afford it.
The Stealing option happens too often and you cannot afford to upgrade enough to be effective.
You want to better your stealing or defense, or anything? Good luck. The dice are steal dice are too easily obtainable. You want the big die? Good luck. You need your opponent to have the worst luck with dice rolling, and you need to be perfect gold almost every time, just to have hope.
The four-sided upgrades hardly happen in the base game anyways. Add a steal effect, they are there for decoration only.
The game doesn’t balance where each person can attack and gain gold. It’s one way or the other.
Thank you for the incredibly honest feedback. You're completely right that the addition of the steal mechanic aggressively shifts the balance and can leave players feeling stuck if the rolls don't go their way. It’s definitely meant to be our most cutthroat, divisive expansion. We're glad it at least gave you a memorable game night (even if someone ended up on the couch 😉 )!
